Room 3 Anzac Day Poem's/Stories!

This Term in Room 3 we have been studying Anzac Day. 

We have looked at writing stories and poems about Anzac Day, we also got in groups of 3 or 4 and we got given some information but it was straight off the Internet so our goal was to read it and write it again into student speak.

In the end we had to take it home to finish it off.

The poems, stories and articles are currently up on the wall in class!

This is Room 3 in our P.E gear near the courts outside Pouakai syndicate, smiling for the camera! (Well some of us anyway).

There are 29 Students in room 3 and we are in Piwakawaka syndicate.

Our teacher is the fantastic Miss Marlow!

2D and 3D shapes

For Maths we have been working on 2D and 3D shapes. We have made 3D Castles in our desk groups but we have made our own version of theme parks in other groups. Here are some of the work we have done:

Show Don't Tell

The barking and whining of that little cute thing wakes me up in the mornings. Licking me, eating food, drinking and sleeping is all this young pet does 24/7. Creaking the floor boards with all four paws, then running outside to find his hard crunchy treat. The tap is running but I don't know why. It turns out that my little wonder in life wants to have a bath. I hope that he doesn't flood the house. By Brianne!!!
